They're both great! Google Earth is fast loading while World Wind takes ages to initialize. Google Earth is better for viewing the Earth because you are capable of viewing more countries. In Google Earth, the "address search" feature is only available in America whereas in NASA World Wind, you can search addresses in America and Australia which suits me 'cos I live in Aus.
As you all know, in Google Earth you search by typing in the name of the place in the left pane. To search a place in World Wind, you'll have to click on something and then a pop-up comes up asking what to search. That pop-up thing is annoying! In World Wind, they don't have that loading (%) feature unlike Google Earth.
In NASA World Wind, you can only view America clearly. In other countries when using World Wind, you can't zoom into streets unlike Google Earth. But, remember, using World Wind you can view other planets such as Venus, Jupiter, Mars and the moon (although the moon isn't a planet). NASA World Wind has colourful 3D graphics for planet Earth and has only got 2D imaging for other planets and the moon.
